Thea Dickinson is a PhD candidate in the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences at the University of Toronto. Her special interest is the human and policy dimensions of climate change adaptation and global environmental change. She is a contributing author to three Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report chapters and has authored and co-authored over 25 publications on societal responses to climate change including Climate Change Adaptation in Canada: A Multi-Level Mosaic; Coordinating Development and Adaptation Funding; Climate Change and Human Health in Cities and The Compendium of Adaptation Models for Climate Change.  Some of the organizations that Thea has worked with and consulted for include the UNDP and UNEP, Red Cross/Red Crescent, and Environment Canada.
